We are currently on the hunt for like minded team players to fill a variety of positions at The Yew Tree Inn. If you like our pub and feel as though you’d bring something to the team then please ask a manager for details of the position that suits you.


As our business grows so does the need to grow our management team.  We’re looking for an assistant manager to assist Myles in the smooth running of the business on a day to day basis.

Personality is key to success here and you must have a hard working ethos too.  You’ll also be hungry for success and keen to add more awards to the pubs growing list!  You’ll have experience working in a busy pub environment with good knowledge of fresh food operations, cellar management and duty management.

You’ll be responsible for duty management, staffing and recruitment, cellar management and maintaining the high standards that our guests expect.

We’re looking for an experienced Chef De Partie or existing Junior Sous Chef to join the growing team.  We pride ourselves on our freshly made dishes, made using locally sourced, quality focused ingredients.  You’ll be used working in a busy kitchen and have experience running both larder and sauce sections.  It’s not a big kitchen team so having good autonomy and drive is key.  We’re consistently listed in the Good Food Guide and Michelin Guide and we have won numerous awards for our food including The Good Pub Guides “Dining Pub of the Year 2014″.

We offer a good starting salary, full training and equal share in tips.

(Over 18’s required – experience preferred)

If you’ve got “good chat” and enjoy being the centre of attention then joining the bar crew could be just for you. You need to be over 18 and interested in the products that you’ll be serving – experience is not essential but a willingness to get stuck in is a must. You’ll also be the first face our guests come across so confidence is key. In return we’ll give you full training both on the bar and in the cellar.


(Over 16’s required, experience preferred but not essential)

Bright, energetic, confident, bubbly – these are words that best describe the kind of team player we are looking for to join this team. We’ll teach you the difference between this dish and that, we are simply looking for hard working folk who want to work here and have a passion for good food. You must be prepared to work evenings and weekends.
